Through this channel, we aim to keep you regularly informed about everything happening within our federation: updates from the board, upcoming events, sporting highlights, and useful information for clubs and athletes.

This newsletter is distributed via email, our WhatsApp groups, and is also available on our website — making it easy for everyone to stay up to date.

We hope this newsletter becomes a helpful tool to connect and communicate within our obstacle sports community.

Sportive regards,
The BOCRF Board

Outgoing Board Members

Kenneth Van Peteghem

“I would like to thank all clubs, athletes, and supporters for an unforgettable time as president.I had the privilege of experiencing two European Championships, two World Championships, and many national and international races together with you.

We achieved great results and shared amazing adventures.

I have full confidence in the new board and am certain that OCR in Belgium has a bright future ahead.

Keep giving it your all — I’ll definitely see you again at one of the upcoming races!”

Matthias Criel

“After two years of giving everything I had, I decided to take a step back from the board.

Over the past year, it became clear that combining this role with my other task — leading the Judge/Official operations (what’s in a name 😜) — was difficult.

I want to fully focus on that, without the extra board duties.

Of course, I’m not stepping away as Head Judge — my passion remains strong!

This season, together with my amazing team, I want to focus on launching the anti-doping policy, expanding our pool of trained judges, aligning national procedures with FISO, and ensuring consistent standards across all competitions.

Our official program is already performing at a high level — something that was confirmed again at the World Championships, where Belgium was praised for its well-trained officials.

Let’s make it another great sporting year together!”

On behalf of the entire board, we sincerely thank Kenneth and Matthias for their commitment and dedication.
They built a strong foundation for the federation’s future, and the new board will continue with the same energy and sporting spirit.
